SHO TYME BAND

So the real story is: The Sho Tyme Band plays the fun, classic rock and retro - oldies music that started Rock ‘N Roll and Pop music to begin with. It’s Retro Classic Rock like Bad Company, Clapton, Allman Bros, Grand Funk Railroad, the Rolling Stones, Doobie Bros. and more. This is the type of music loved by everyone but especially the generation that grew up with 60's & 70's music!

The band features veteran Blues singer Jim Conley from Charlotte NC. Making those Pop & Blues songs into a veritable feast of Funk and Soul. Songs like “Everytime I Roll the Dice” originally sung by Delbert McClinton, Soul Man, Midnight Hour, and many more. Sho Tyme helps round out the band’s offerings with great Beach-style songs like: the Temptations, “My Girl”, “Two Times My Loving” by The Fabulous Thunderbirds, “Too Late To Turn Back Now” by Cornelius Bros, Myrtle Beach Days and Carolina Girls. We also cover country line dancing tracks.  We continually work on new material to keep our sets fresh and lively.

Sho Tyme Band indeed has it's roots in Southern Rock Music. The band  has been around the SC upstate area since 1995. The Sho Tyme Band will continue to play a variety of great Southern Rock music from The Kentucky Headhunters to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Wet Willie and others.
